Roger Duranceau, 81, passed away at home Jan 23, 2015, under hospice care. He was a family man, outdoorsman, veteran and friend to all he met.
Roger was survived by his wife Judy, daughter Debbi (Larry) Whitish – New Mexico, four sons, Ron – Aniwa, Bob – Merrill, Randy (Becky) – Baraboo, Rick (Ronda) – Washington, all veterans. There are 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Beatrice (Kolpitke) Duranceau, his sister Lorraine (Walter) Anderson and his brother Dale (Donna).
Roger was known for his infectious smile and hello to everyone he met. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing cards.
There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering at Christ United Methodist Church, 300 N Mill St, Merrill on Sat, Jan 31, 2015 from 2 to 4 pm. No flowers, please.
