Lincoln County state funded snowmobile trails designated as Zone 1 except for Corridor 19 south of Hwy. 86 and snowmobile trails in Zone 3 on the 2015 Lincoln County Snowmobile Map opened effective 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3. These are trails lying north of Hwy. 86 and north of Corridor 17, in addition to trails lying east of Hwy. 51.
Trails designated as being open to Winter ATV use in these areas will not be open to ATV traffic until 8 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015 and close to winter ATV use when the temperature is above 28 degrees.
All Zone 2 Lincoln County snowmobile and winter ATV trails will remain closed at this time in addition to Corridor 19 south of Hwy. 86.
Riders are reminded to stay on marked trails and use caution when riding as some areas may be rough and in early season conditions.
