On Tuesday afternoon at about 1:08 p.m. the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office 911 Center received a call of a structure fire on Westview Road in the town of Schley.
The fire destroyed a storage shed and significantly damaged a 1999 Dodge pickup truck and an adjacent pole building.
It is believed the fire was started by a wood burning stove in the storage shed.
Responding units included the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Pine River and Russell fire departments, Merrill EMS and Wisconsin Public Service.
