The Merrill Park and Recreation Department announces applications are now available to potential arts/crafts and food vendors who are interested in selling their goods at the Art/Craft Festival at Normal Park on Saturday, Aug. 16, from noon – 4 p.m. There will some kids activities and also music for the public to enjoy. This event is free to the public.
The Festival is also looking for artists of all ages to participate in the Sidewalk Chalk Art that will be taking place on the sidewalks embracing Normal Park. With no fee to the artists, areas of sidewalk will be assigned to participants to create their own fanciful chalk art drawing. Prizes will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
