Due to health reasons, long-time Merrill barber LeRoy Fisher will be taking the next several weeks off work. LeRoy’s Hair Care at 724 E. Second St. will be closed for at least six weeks while LeRoy recovers from open heart surgery.
LeRoy, 72, has been cutting hair since he was 12 years old and has been a licensed barber in Merrill for 50 years, 34 years at the current location. He thanks his customers for their support over the years and their patience during his hiatus. LeRoy said he hopes to re-open the barber shop in June.
