Lula M. VonLoh, age 95, of Merrill, passed away Easter Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Merrill.
Lula was born on March 28, 1919, in Milwaukee, daughter of the late Arthur and Louisa (Nelson) Goff. She married Henry VonLoh on Oct. 27, 1945, in Irma. He preceded her in death on July 16, 1985. Lula was a homemaker and helped her husband on their farm. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Wegner and Kaye (Jim) Roberts, both of Merrill; two sons, Robert VonLoh and James (Rose) VonLoh, both of Merrill; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Lula was preceded in death by her husband, Henry VonLoh; her father, Arthur Goff; her mother, Louisa (Nelson) Goff Winkleman; her step father, Harry Winkleman; her brother, Arthur Goff; and her son-in-law, Jim Wegner.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, at the Pine Crest Nursing Home Chapel, Merrill. Burial will take place in Chat Cemetery, Town of Birch, Lincoln County. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the Pine Crest Nursing Home Chapel. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family with arrangements.
