Dave Calvin Stickler

Dave Calvin Stickler was born Aug. 1, 1942 in Merrill to Louis and Irene Stickler. He went home March 16, 2014, he was 71 years old.
Dave served in the US Army from 1959-1964. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, and hunting. His favorite sport was NASCAR racing. He enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, particularly the challenging ones, 1000+ pieces; anything John Deere was his favorite. Dave enjoyed fellowship every Monday morning at Meadowood Clubhouse. He loved reminiscing about the “good ole days” with friends and neighbors over coffee and pastries. His favorite stories, of course, involved Shane, his dog, who rules the mobile home court. Dave also enjoyed cooking, once he donned his John Deere apron, the kitchen belonged to him.
Dave loved his family one and all, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and most especially his boys. He was so proud of them. Dave is survived by his wife Mercy Stickler of Littleton, CO; son Mitch Stickler of Colorado Springs, CO; grandson Bobbie Raymond Stickler and Brenna of Englewood, CO; great grandsons Bobbie Jamison and Gunner Ray Stickler of Englewood, CO; brothers Gary (Patti) and Ray (Doris) Stickler of Wisconsin; sisters Edith Noggle, Susan Woller, Delores Stickler and Christine Sticker, all of Wisconsin.
