ZInternet Sales expands with Grand Antiques

ZInternet Sales is expanding to take over the entire building at 423 Grand Avenue, more than doubling the display space for antiques. With the expansion, owner Kyle Zinter has added “Grand Antiques” to the name of his business.

Zinter opened the business two years ago, offering consignment sales over the internet along with a selection of antiques sold out of the store. The antiques quickly filled up the small storefront, however.
“I had that side so jam-packed, you couldn’t see everything,” he said.

Zinter owned the whole building, but leased half of it to another business. When the renter recently moved out, he seized the opportunity to increase his antiques display space. Zinter is an avid antique and estate buyer and has a vast quantity of items in storage. The additional store space allows him to display more of that, including larger items such as furniture.

“I’m expanding with bigger and better antiques,” he said. “Everything is kind of unique. I strive to fill those special interests.”
Grand Antiques features many items that are well over 100 years old. Zinter also has a fondness for local artifacts from Merrill and the surrounding areas.

With his huge back stock, Zinter is able to constantly bring new items into the store as space allows.

He is also in the process of setting up the basement to display more vintage items in a “bargain basement” type of atmosphere.

On the internet sales side of his business, Zinter continues to offer the listing of items on eBay on a consignment basis.

ZInternet Sales and Grand Antiques is currently open Wednesdays from noon-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Saturdays 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Zinter said he plans to expand his hours in the summer. The business can be reached at 715-536-2916.
