Patricia L. Wendland-Waldburger obituary

Patricia L. Wendland-Waldburger, age 52, of Merrill, died Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. 
Pat was born Aug. 2, 1961, in Merrill, daughter of Shirley (Graap) Wendland and the late Clarence Wendland. Pat was the co-owner and co-operator of “Richard’s Vending” in Beaver Dam. Pat was also a former bartender. She enjoyed playing “Farmville” on Facebook, collecting Golden Books and antiques, and spending time with her nieces and step grandchildren. Prior to her divorce, Pat enjoyed helping raise her step children Tammy, Robert and Joe. 
Pat is survived by her mother, Shirley Wendland, Merrill; two sisters, Laurie Wendland (with Chuck Ramp) and Cheryl Wendland, both of Merrill; one brother, Rick Wendland, Merrill; her special nieces Kia, Krystal, and Jennifer; and her special aunts Juanita Arndt, Judy Nelson and Theresa Graap, all of Merrill, and Delores Sweeney of Cambria, WI. Besides her father, Pat is preceded in death by a sister, Susan Wagers; her grandparents, Paul and Leona Graap, and Henry and Adeline Wendland; her mother-in-law, Pearl Waldburger;  one aunt, Janet Liebers; her uncles, Gerald Graap, Wayne Nelson, and Donald and Arthur Wendland; and her cousin, Scotty Nelson. 
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 6, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. The Rev. R. Brian Stolarczyk will officiate. Burial will take place this spring in Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
