Future of the fair

The future of the Lincoln County Fair and fairgrounds will be the top of discussion Sunday, Jan. 19 at 1:30 p.m. in the Community Room of T.B. Scott Free Library in Merrill. The discussion is part of the library’s Words Worth Hearing series.
The meeting is meant as a frank, open and civil discussion of the Lincoln County Fair and fairgrounds’ future. Panelists will include Wisconsin Association of Fairs Director Rusty Volk (Northern Wis. State Fair, Chippewa Falls) and Executive Secretary/Treasurer Jayme Buttke, with moderator Pastor Bob Smallman. County and local officials have been invited to attend.
Refreshments compliments of The Checkered Churn and First Street Coffee Station will be provided.
