New Financial Peace University classes coming to Trinity Lutheran Church
What would your life be like if you had no payments? No credit card debt. No car payments. No home equity loan payments. Not even a house payment. What if every dollar you worked so hard for to bring home represented an opportunity for the future instead of an obligation to the past? What kind of difference would it make to you, your spouse, your children, your community, or your church, if you were totally, completely 100% debt free?
How you spend your money tells a story. It’s a story about where your heart is. You can change the story. And you can start right now.
Enroll in the 9-week Dave Ramsey’s “Financial Peace University” (FPU) classes that will be held Thursday evenings, starting Feb. 6, 2014, from 6-8 p.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, 107 State St., Merrill.
Past graduates say that when using the skills taught by Dave Ramsey they begin to see their debt go down, their savings improve, their ability to give improve, their future look more hopeful and secure, their family and marriage relationships strengthen and their children watch and learn from new examples being set by their parents, and so much more. During the last 9-week class, eight households of single persons and married couples attended. Total non-mortgage debt of $42,283 was paid off, $7,792 was saved and nine credit cards were closed or cut up. Those results were just during those nine weeks.
