The southern half of Lincoln County’s state funded snowmobile trails (Zone 2 and Zone 3) with one exception, opened Friday, Dec. 27, at 8 a.m. The 51 trail from 3’s Company (#24) in Merrill south to Henrich’s Club (#20) at the intersection of corridor 15 will remain closed due to standing corn.
Riders are asked to stay on the marked trails and use caution when riding as some areas may be rough and in early season condition.
Trails designated open to winter ATV use in Zones 2 and 3 will not be open to ATV use until 8 a.m. on Jan. 3. Winter ATV trails are closed to ATV use when the temperature is above 28 degrees.
Lincoln County snowmobile trails are closed to fat tire bicycling once grooming has commenced.
