Rebecca Lynn (Mohr) Dorgan, affectionately known as “Becki,” age 40, of Merrill, passed away peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 at Aspirus Hospital after a brave battle against synovial sarcoma.
Becki was born in Merrill to Gerald Mohr and Cheryl Kloss, on Feb. 4, 1973. She graduated from Merrill High School. Becki was a hard worker. Her most recent employment was Merrill Distributing. She had previously worked at Dave’s County Market, JW Perry and Carl’s Food Lane. The job she loved most was being a Mom to her four children.
Becki had a contagious laugh and smile that would light up a room. She loved holidays and birthdays and always embraced time spent with family. She loved playing bingo. Becki was especially lucky at winning. She was a talented artist and took great pride in her crafts; perfecting every last detail.
Becki is survived by her children, Chelsey Dorgan, Braden, Jacob and Damien Roberts; her parents, Jerry Mohr (Jean Ballmer), Merrill, and Cheryl (Kelly) Kloss, River Falls; grandmothers Phyllis Schlueter and Alice Mohr; siblings Todd (Sherri) Mohr, Eagle River, Amy (Chad) Brown, Gleason, Molly Kloss, River Falls, Alycin (Chad) Charbarneau, Merrill, Lindsay Kloss (Greg Schultz), Woodruff, and Jeremy Mohr (Sarah Kleinschmidt), Merrill. She has 11 nieces, five nephews, several aunts, uncles, cousins and an extended family of relatives. Becki was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Ray Schlueter, and Donald Mohr; uncles Gary Schlueter and Dave Bornfleth; her aunts Debbie Bornfleth, Carol Schlueter, and Pam Mohr.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at St. Stephens United Church of Christ. Pastor Linda Kuhn will officiate with burial to follow at Snow Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7 at Waid Funeral Home and again Friday 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the family.
