Lincoln County’s veterans groups will participate in a host of programs in honor of Veterans Day. The schedule of programs in the Merrill area is as follows:
Friday, Nov. 8- 8:45 a.m., Prairie River Middle School; 10:30 a.m., Washington Elementary School; 2 p.m., Kate Goodrich Elementary School.
Monday, Nov. 11- 9 a.m., Jefferson Elementary School; 11 a.m., Cenotaph ceremony; 1:15 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., Merrill High School auditorium; 3:30 p.m., River Valley Bank; 6:45 p.m., Jefferson Elementary School (meet for a question and answer session with Boy Scouts Troop 503).
Tuesday, Nov. 12- 7:45 a.m., St. Francis Xavier Catholic School.
Wednesday, Nov. 13- 1:30 p.m., St. John Lutheran School.
