Following a motions hearing last Wednesday, the trial has been delayed for a Merrill woman charged in the deaths of two others in a June 2012 car accident.
Ashley Baumann, 25, was set to go to trial Dec. 16, but the prosecution and defense agreed they would not be ready for trial at that time. The availability of witnesses was cited as a reason for the delay. A new trial date has not yet been set.
Baumann faces nine criminal charges related to a traffic crash that killed Jessica Hartwig, 33, and Misty Glish, 31, both of Merrill. The charges include homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle. Baumann and Jerrica Woller, 29, survived the crash.
