Trial dates set in murder case

Trial dates have been set for Mark Bucki, who is accused of killing his wife at their town of Corning home in April. The two-week trial is scheduled to start April 7, 2014.

Bucki, 49, is charged in Lincoln County Circuit Court with felony counts of first-degree intentional homicide, strangulation/suffocation and concealing a corpse.
Bucki reported his wife, Anita, missing from their home on Wegner Road in the town of Corning April 26. Her body was discovered in a swamp off Cty. Rd. C in Taylor County, about 19 miles from their house, on May 10. An autopsy showed she had been stabbed seven times and had severe bruising around her throat.

Mark Bucki was arrested and charged with her murder on May 13. He has entered not guilty pleas to all charges. He remains in the Lincoln County Jail on a $2 million cash bond.
