Theodore W. “Ted” Lemanski, Jr., age 69, of Merrill, died Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Golden Living Center – Riverview, Tomahawk.
Ted was born Oct. 16, 1943, in Merrill, son of the late Theodore W. and Ann C. (Ody) Lemanski, Sr. He married Diane C. Lambrecht on Sept. 26, 1964, in Merrill. She survives.
Ted worked at Crestline in Wausau for 30 years, retiring in 1999. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from March 1966 until his honorable discharge in March of 1969. From 1966 until 1968, Ted was stationed in Augsburg, Germany. His son Richard was born in Germany during this time.
Survivors include his wife Diane C. Lemanski; two sons, Richard “Rick” (wife, Julianna) Lemanski, and Todd (wife, Tiffany) Lemanski; one granddaughter, Brianna Diane Lemanski; and his best friends, Dave Woellner and Tina Kluckman.
Services for Ted will be private. Inurnment will take place at a later date in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Cemetery Veterans Memorial Section. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, is assisting the family.
