William ?Bill? Robert Klade, Sr.

William “Bill” Robert Klade, Sr., age 76, passed away on Sept. 28, 2013 at the Aspirus Hospital in Wausau.
Bill was born on Sept. 16, 1937 to Fred and Mildred (Plautz) Klade in Tomahawk. Bill graduated from the Merrill high school in 1956 and joined the Army from 1956-1959. Bill met Barbara Euler and they were joined in marriage on Nov. 12, 1960.
He had worked on the family farm for the first 30 years of his life. Bill then went to work for Mohawk Contracting Company doing concrete construction for 28 years. When Bill was not working, he loved spending time with his family, and especially his beloved grandkids and great grandkids. He enjoyed woodworking and helping his grandkids make all sorts of things. Bill loved to hunt deer and enjoyed the sport of fishing. Bill even had a stand in the backyard of his son-in-law’s home, Tim. He also enjoyed his coffee time with the boys. Bill was a member of The Bible Presbyterian Church in Merrill.
Bill is survived by his wife, Barbara June Euler Klade; his sons, Bill Jr. Klade, Merrill, and Justin (JoAnn) Klade, Genoa City; daughters, Liane (Mark) Katzenberg, Genoa City, and Deena (Tim) Rathbun, Merrill; his grandkids, Michael (Tiama) Rathbun, Merrill, Tiffany “Angel” (Kenny) Tupa, Merrill, Daniel (Jackie) Katzenberg, Genoa City, Lindsey “Princess” (Ken Roth) Katzenberg, Genoa City, RJ (Samantha Sojka) Klade, Genoa City, and Christi “Precious” (Steven Mullens Jr.) Klade, Genoa City; his great grandkids, Eliza “beautiful blue-eyed girl,” Abel and Mickey; brothers, Doyle Klade, Tomahawk, and Rowe Klade, Merrill; sisters, MaryAnn Weisskopf, Merrill, Helen Lange, Tomahawk, Sandy Euler, Crossville, TN, and Ida Schulz, Merrill. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Dick, Roger, Junior, Tom and Dennis; and sisters, Donna and Faye.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 3, at The Bible Presbyterian Church in Merrill at 11 a.m. Pastor Robert Smallman will be officiating. Visitation will be at the Waid Funeral Home Wednesday, Oct. 2, from 4-8 p.m. and again at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
