Diana L. Alsteen, age 48, of Merrill, died Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at her home.
Diana was born July 19, 1965, in Merrill, daughter of Gerald Lemke and the late Charlene (Ziemer) Lemke. She married Jerome Alsteen, Jr., on May 12, 1986.
Diana was a homemaker and enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren. She also enjoyed her pets, watching movies, listening to music, gardening, and cooking and baking.
Survivors include her husband, Jerome Alsteen, Jr., of Merrill; her father, Gerald Lemke, of Merrill; one daughter, Angel Roggenbuck, of Wausau; one son, Jerome Alsteen III, of Merrill; three grandchildren, Zander, Aria and Armani; one sister, Susan Spatz, of Mosinee; four brothers, Gary Lemke, Daniel (Jamie) Lemke, Allan (Dawn) Lemke and John Lemke, all of Merrill; one godson/nephew, Rick Roggenbuck, of Merrill; and many aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Diana was preceded in death by her mother, Charlene Lemke; and one niece, Melissa Sue Lemke.
There will be a family gathering and celebration of Diana’s life on Saturday, Oct. 5, beginning at 1 p.m., at the Town of Pine River Town Hall.
