The Lincoln County Democratic Party invites the public to the 8th annual Chili Supper. The popular fundraiser event will be held Sunday, Sept. 29, from 3-6 p.m. at the Rock Island Express Snowmobile Club House. The menu consists of homemade chili, cornbread, desserts, coffee and soda. The cost of the dinner is $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12. The club house is located on Joe Snow Road, west off Cty. K about two miles on the north side of the road.
Party Chair Melissa Schroeder states that Wisconsin Democratic leaders have been invited; State Sen. Kathleen Vinehout has accepted the invitation. Other invited guests include Mike Tate, Wisconsin Democratic Party Chair; Jeff Smith, Regional Representative; Pat Krietlow; Senator Tammy Baldwin and Mary Burke.
Schroeder is also a member of the Democratic National Committee and serves as vice chair of the State Democratic Party. The Lincoln County Democratic Party meets on the third Monday evening of each month.
