Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Gleason is hosting a medical fund raiser for Rick Bergman on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 2-8 p.m. at the Gleason Area Lions Park, N5179 Bradley St., Gleason.
Rick has endured a long hospital stay from necrotizing fasciitis, which is a very serious condition better known as flesh eating bacteria. Recovery will mean a long and tedious battle for Rick and it is unknown when he will be able to return to work. Rick is currently the president of Luther Memorial Church and is involved in many community organizations.
This event will include food and drink sales, music, silent auction and major raffles throughout the afternoon. Thrivent Financial will provide assistance.
