Tomahawk woman killed in crash

A 51-year-old Tomahawk woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash in the town of King Wednesday afternoon.
According to a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office report, Kimberly R. Madaj was traveling westbound on Cty. D at approximately 3:09 p.m. when, for unknown reasons, she lost control of her vehicle, entering the north ditch and rolled several times. She was trapped by the vehicle and had to be extricated by Tomahawk Fire Rescue. Madaj died as a result of her injuries.
The family dog was the only other occupant in the vehicle and survived the crash without injuries.
The Wisconsin State Patrol, Tomahawk Fire and Ambulance assisted at the scene.
