Casey?s Ride to benefit Hope Lodge

The first annual Casey’s Ride poker run will be held Saturday, Sept. 21 to benefit Hope Lodge.
The ride is being held in memory of Casey Hanke of Merrill, who passed away at the age of 22 from leukemia. Proceeds from the ride will benefit Hope Lodge in Marshfield, which offers cancer patients and their caregivers a place to stay while undergoing treatment.
All cars and bikes are welcome on the poker run, which leaves Knuckleheadz, W7695 Hwy. 64, at noon. Stops on the run include Spirit Lake Bar & Grill in Rib Lake, Happy Snapper in Tomahawk, Nut-Zee’s in Gleason, Rock Island and 1212 Sports Bar in Merrill, before returning to Knuckleheadz. Danny Johnson, lead guitarist of Steppenwolf, will put on a free show at Knuckleheadz starting at 9 p.m.
The $10 per rider entry fee includes drink specials, raffles, a corn roast and karaoke.
