Another summer concert season has come and gone for the Merrill City Band, but you can still hear them one more time at the Labor Day Parade. The group, which ranges in age from 17 to “60 something,” will march from Prairie River Middle School to the Courthouse.
Parade bands like to avoid playing while going around corners, so director Linda Becker encourages those who want to hear them to stand on a straight stretch of road.
The parade begins at 10 a.m. and the City Band looks forward to performing for you one last time in 2013.
