A benefit fund has been established at Park City Credit Union to assist Merrill resident Rob Thompson with medical expenses. Thompson, 33, received 1st and 2nd degree burns to his face, arms and left knee from a campfire Aug. 17 and was flown to the burn center at UW Madison Hospital. He is expected to remain at the burn center for 2-4 weeks.
