LEAF, the youth group of Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, Gleason, will present an afternoon of “Good Old Gospel Music” on Aug. 18, starting at 2 p.m.
Bands performing are Handpicked (bluegrass gospel) and Fox Fire (country gospel). A free will donation will be taken with all proceeds to be divided between the Salvation Army for the Oklahoma tornado victims and a special church fund.
The event will be outside, weather permitting, so bring a lawn chair. Canopies/ shade will be available this year. Concessions will also be available, including brats, hot dogs, chips, popcorn, soda and water. A bake sale will also be held by the Bible study group.
Luther Memorial Lutheran Church is located at N5308 Town Hall Rd, Gleason, at the intersection of Hwy 17 and Town Hall Road.
