Gazebo Nights at Normal Park will present rock band Granite Rose from 6-8 p.m. on Crazy Daze Thursday.
Granite Rose, from Eau Claire, consists of four young musicians who play high energy classic rock & rock music. They play covers by Journey, Beatles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Guns & Roses, Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cream, & the Who, to name a few, and some of their own originals. Granite Rose has played the Lincoln & Clark county fairs, Pioneer Days, Concert for a Cause, Rockin’ Tomahawk, and numerous clubs from Minocqua to Nekoosa.
Bring your lawn chairs and coolers for a relaxing evening of music in the park. HAVEN and the Band Boosters will be providing food and beverages for purchase at the park during the concert. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to Les & Jim’s Lincoln Lanes.
Granite Rose’s appearance is sponsored by Courtside Furniture, Chip’s Hamburgers and River Valley Bank. Gazebo nights continues with Donnie Pick and the Road Band on Aug. 22, and wraps up with Copper Box on Aug. 29.
