Crews are planning single, daytime lane closures on southbound US 51 in Tomahawk between US 8 and Lincoln County S. Work was scheduled to begin Monday, July 29. The lane closures are necessary for crews to make pavement repairs.
When the lanes are closed, the speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph in the work zone.
Work is scheduled for completion by noon on Friday. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution and be alert for slow moving vehicles. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
