Kostman hired as Lincoln County Family Living Educator

Amanda Kostman began working as the Lincoln County Family Living Educator (50% FTE) on July 16, 2013. As a University of Wisconsin-Extension, Cooperative Extension faculty member, Kostman will provide local leadership in support of efforts to strengthen the quality of family life in Lincoln County. Areas of program priority will include family financial security; family relationships; and nutrition, health and food safety.
Kostman earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and a Master of Science from the Department of Family and Consumer Science at University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Kostman had served as the Interim Family Living Educator for Lincoln County since September 2012. In addition, she will continue to serve as the 4-H Youth Development Program Advisor (50% FTE) for Lincoln County, a role she has held since January 2005.
The Family Living position is funded jointly by Lincoln County government in partnership with the University of Wisconsin-Extension. Kostman’s office is located in the Lincoln County Service Center on the lower level.
