Marilyn Ann Hoffmann

Marilyn Ann Hoffmann, 82, of Sturgeon Bay, died Thursday morning, July 18, 2013, at the Skilled Nursing Facility of Ministry Door County Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 9, 1930, in Sturgeon Bay, the daughter of the late William and Ann (Schepp) Koepp. Following her graduation from Sevastopol High School in 1948, Marilyn went to work for Western Electric in Milwaukee until 1964. She then married Nicholas F. Hoffmann in June of 1964. They owned and operated their tavern business in Merrill from 1964 until they retired to Sturgeon Bay in 1991. Marilyn enjoyed gardening, cooking and flowers. She also liked reading and needle point.
Survivors include her two sons, Donn Hoffmann of Milwaukee, Nicholas (Nicole) Hoffmann of Valmy; two grandsons, Lance Cpl. Torey Eytcheson of the United States Marine Corps, San Antonio, TX, Cody Hoffmann of Baileys Harbor, currently a mechanic at Cal Marine in Sister Bay; two sisters-in-law, Marnie Koepp, Wilda Koepp, both of Sturgeon Bay; and seven nieces.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; brothers, William “Buggs” Koepp, and Don Koepp.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3, .at 2 p.m. at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay. Friends may call on Saturday, Aug. 3, from noon until the time of services at 2 p.m.
Memorials may be given in her memory to the Skilled Nursing Facility at Ministry Door County Medical Center in Sturgeon Bay.
