The Tomahawk Chamber of Commerce and Wisconsin’s First Lady, Tonette Walker, invite the public to “Walk with Walker.” Tomahawk has been chosen as one of Mrs. Walker’s venues to promote 2013 as the “Year of Wellness.”
Everyone is welcome to walk with Walker on Tuesday, May 21, at 4 p.m., in Bradley Park. Participants will gather at the Bradley Park Boat launch, before starting their two-mile walk showcasing the beauty of the Bradley Park, while helping promote the healthy lifestyle that Tonette is known for.
After the walk, Chamber members are invited to Inshalla Country Club for a meet and great with Mrs. Walker. Inshalla Country Club will be hosting a Quitting Time that evening from 5 pm until 7pm.
“We are excited to have Wisconsin’s First Lady Tonette Walker coming to Tomahawk, we invite everyone to join us on our walk,” said Tamra Anderson, Tomahawk Regional Chamber of Commerce’s executive director. “It will be a great way to showcase Bradley Park while promoting health and fitness.”
