The City of Merrill is pleased to announce that Merrill will soon be the home of a new El Mezcal Authentic Mexican restaurant located next to the AmericInn on East Main St. The restaurant will be built by Gary Schwartz of Merrill and leased to El Mezcal.
El Mezcal currently has restaurants in central Wisconsin in Wausau, Marshfield and Wisconsin Rapids. The Merrill site will provide seating for 136 patrons at tables and booths, with additional seating for 8 at the bar.
“The City of Merrill is looking forward to the opening of this new Authentic Mexican eatery in the Fall of 2013,” said City Administrator David Johnson.
