Five local bands are donating their time for a concert to raise funds for HAVEN and the Lincoln County Humane Society. The Humane Society & HAVEN Benefit Jamboree will be held May 17, from 5-11 p.m. at Les & Jim’s Lincoln Lanes in Merrill.
The jamboree will feature performances by the hosting band, The Broken Arrow Band, plus Plan B, Sundog, American Party Band and Dave Fox & Foxfire. The same group organized a concert to benefit victims of the 2011 Merrill tornado and raised $10,000.
Raffle prizes will be offered and all proceeds will benefit the two local organizations.
Major contributors thus far include Church Mutual Insurance Company, River Valley Bank, Lincoln County Bank, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Walmart, Lincoln Lanes, Cooking Bees Harley-Davidson, Geiss Meat Service and Courtside Furniture. There are numerous other Merrill businesses contributing raffle prizes as well.
