Kickingboxing, yoga at Riverside Athletic Club

Riverside Athletic Club has announced two new classes now being offered at their facility at 500 South Center Avenue, Merrill, which includes Kickboxing and Yoga.
Both of these classes are perfect for men and women. Kickboxing is an exciting and fun class that combines a full body strength and toning workout. This intense cardiovascular workout can burn as many as 500 calories an hour. This class meets on Monday evenings from 5:30-6:15 p.m. and starting in March will also be offered on Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m.
Riverside’s Yoga Class is appropriate for all levels including the beginner who wants to build a strong foundation of basic Yoga postures and breathing techniques, as well as for the participant who wants to refine and master the fundamentals. It is an invitation to stretch, relax, unwind and de-stress. This class current meets on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. and beginning in March will be Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
Riverside also offers various classes throughout the day and evening that include:
Water Exercise on Tuesday and Thursdays from 8-9 a.m.
Stability Ball Total Conditioning on Monday and Wednesdays from 9-9:45 a.m., and beginning in March on Tuesday evenings from 5:15-6 p.m.
Silver Sneakers on Monday and Wednesdays from 9-9:45 a.m.
Yoga Plus on Fridays from 9-9:45 a.m.
Arthritis in the Water on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 10-11 a.m.
Kickboxing on Mondays from 5:30-6:15 p.m. and starting in March Thursdays at 5:30-6:15 p.m.
Pilates on Monday and Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and starting in March Wednesdays class will be from 7-8 p.m.
Step Aerobics on Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m. and Saturdays from 9-10 a.m.
Yoga on Thursdays from 7-8 p.m. and in March will be from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
