Delores V. Rydell, age 69, of Winchester, WI, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013.
Delores was born July 26, 1943, in Merrill, daughter of Harold and Viola (Teske) Plamann, Merrill. She married Jack C. Rydell in 1962, and he preceded her in death in October of 1996. Delores was self-employed and was the owner/operator of “Health Ergonomics.” She enjoyed sewing, shopping, reading, socializing, traveling and exploring, and spending time at her lake side property.
Survivors include two daughters, Jill Rydell (Terry Gaeu), of Merrill, and Julie (Mark) Rydell-Uriarte, of Sandy, Utah; one son, Jeff (Lisa) Rydell, of Wausau; six grandchildren, Christopher and Amanda Rydell, Kaleigh Schaefer (Ken Christian), Cohrtney Bond, and Elihjah and Anthony Uriarte; her parents, Harold and Viola Plamann, of Merrill; one sister, Mary (Greg) Olson, of Hot Springs, AR; one brother, David (Gloria) Plamann, of Kewaunee, WI; and one sister-in-law, Maxine Plamann, of Merrill. Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Jack C. Rydell; one sister, Fern Wheaton; and one brother, Philip Plamann.
The funeral will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Taylor-Stine Funeral Home, Merrill. Pastor Paul Hohman will officiate. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
