Calvin A. Bleuel

Calvin A. Bleuel, 73, of Fond du Lac, died peacefully and unexpectedly at St. Agnes Hospital on Tuesday, December 18, 2012, with his family at his side.

Calvin was born in Fond du Lac on September 18, 1939, a son of Benjamin A. and Olga K (Guelig) Bleuel.
He graduated from St. Mary’s Springs High School in 1957. On July 1, 1961 he married Pat Duford.
Calvin lived most of his life in Fond du Lac. In 1976 the company he worked for Milwaukee Lead Works where they built the northern branch in Merrill called Milwaukee Lead North.
He and his family moved to Merrill where he was the Branch Manager there until they closed in 2000. He and Pat then moved back to Fond du Lac where he later retired.
Calvin is survived by Pat, his wife for 51 years; one daughter, Kim (Steve) Hehling of Merrill; two grandchildren, Melissa (Adam) Scheffler of Anchorage AK; great granddaughter, Isabella whom he loved very much; grandson, Eric James Wilke of Merrill whom he was very proud of; brother, Howard Bleuel of Pendleton SC; brother-in-law, Larry (Shirley) Duford of Fond du Lac; sister-in-law, Judith Streeter of North Fond du Lac; many loving nieces, nephew, their families and friends.
Preceding him in death are his parents; one sister, Marge Krug; sisters-in-laws and brothers-in-law.
Visitation: His family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division St., Fond du Lac.
Services: At 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 22, 2012, a Service of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Zacherl Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
Memorials in his name are preferred, and may be directed to St. Mary’s Springs Academy or Holy Family Parish.
