Merrill High School’s Summer Honors Art Mural program is underway for the eighth consecutive year, and the Art Department is seeking businesses or individuals wishing to sponsor a mural. The 12 new paintings will be completed by mid-June. Sponsors’ donations help defray the cost of glass and framing for each mural. Sponsors’ names will be engraved on a brass plaque installed next to each mural, and each sponsor will receive a certificate of appreciation: $400 sponsors one entire mural, and $200 will sponsor half a mural.
