Our Saviour’s Good Neighbor Relay for Life Team is holding a huge silent auction fundraiser at Our Saviour’s Church, 300 Logan St. The silent auction is open to the public on Thursday, May 3, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; Friday, May 4, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.; and Saturday, May 5, 9 a.m.-noon.
Items include a collection of Old Style beer steins, dating from 1983-1998; numerous music boxes; homemade Norwegian Lefse; handmade baby afghans; birdhouses; note cards; quilted wall hangings; and golf travel bags; to name a few. Also available is pure Mexican clear and dark vanilla.
All proceeds from the silent auction will benefit the American Cancer Society, sponsor of Relay for Life. Cancer is one of the most dreaded diseases that can affect anyone, at any age.
