Helen was born Aug. 20, 1934. The morning of Saturday, March 17, 2012 the lords’ angels came to take her home.
She was the daughter of Earl and Mildred Storm-Heise and wife of Lawrence Schotz. Helen was survived by three children, Daniel Schotz (Phyllis) of Merrill, Charlene “Charlie” Venske (Dale) of Merrill, Larry Schotz of Merrill; four grandchildren, Brent Clark of Fargo, ND, Seth Clark (Sara) of Merrill, Kelly Clark of Wausau, Derek Schotz of Merrill, and nine great grandchildren, Kamron Clark, Trevor and Shailee Myers, Decilyn Clark, and Tiffany, Riley, Brennen, Skyler, and Decklin Schotz. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and sister Charlotte Hansen.
Helen worked as a laborer in a factory leading to her husband’s death, she then devoted her time to her children and family. Helen lived every day for others. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved bingo, old movies and T.V. shows, country music, “winter camping,” Green Bay Packers, yard work, and most of all being “Mommzie.” She was able to see her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren grow. Friends and family will miss her contagious smile and glimmering happy eyes.
Visitation will be held at Taylor Stine Funeral Home, Merrill, on Thursday, March 22, from 4-7 p.m. The funeral service will be at Taylor Stine Funeral Home Friday, March 23, at 10:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest in St. Francis cemetery.
A Celebration of Life will follow at the Little Dipper, W7695 Hwy 107 and 64, Merrill, at 1 p.m. Lunch and beverages will be served.
