Betty Jane (Plautz) Mueske

Betty Jane (Plautz) Mueske, 87, Merrill, died Friday, February 4, 2011 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice.

Betty Jane (Plautz) Mueske, 87, Merrill, died Friday, February 4, 2011 at Pine Crest Nursing Home, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice.
Betty was born May 17, 1923 in Merrill the daughter of Arnold and Annabel (Frechette) Plautz. Betty Jane and Ralph Carl Mueske were united in marriage June 30, 1959 in Merrill. He preceded her in death. Betty worked at Weinbrenner for 18 years, she also worked at Badger Paint Store, Assoc. Co-op, The Foto News and Johnson Paint Store.
Betty and Ralph enjoyed golfing at many courses all over the state, they even traveled to Arizona and Florida to golf with friends during the winter months. Betty enjoyed playing cards with the ladies at Jenny Towers, and eating out with the girls. She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church, a former member of Trinity Church Choir and several Bible classes. Her Christian Faith and family were a very important part of her life, she truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Betty was an avid Brewer and Packer fan.
Surviving are: Son: Timothy (Jennifer) Mueske,
Granddaughter: Amanda (Shane) Janke,
Grandson: Alexander Mueske,
Great grandson: Logan Janke, and great granddaughter: Lillian Janke, all of Merrill,
She was preceded in death by her husband and 2 brothers: Willis “Bill” and James Plautz.
Memorial service will be held 11:30 AM Friday, February 11, at Waid Funeral Home, The Rev. Pastor Brian Stolarczyk will officiate. Visitation will be 10:30 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at Merrill Memorial Park at a later date.
