MHS Peppermint 2010

The MHS Peppermint Dance was almost a casualty of the blizzard last weekend. Originally slated for Saturday night, MAPS officials opted to postpone it until Sunday afternoon.
Although not wanting the students or their parents to drive in the snow storm was listed as the overall reason for the postponement, not having the flowers the students had ordered for each other to go to waste was the rationale behind holding it Sunday.
MAPS Superintendent Dr. Lisa Snyder and MHS Principal Shannon Murray were monitoring area roads early Sunday afternoon and would have postponed the dance yet again if conditions had not improved enough to be safe.
