Class of ’60 holds 50th reunion

The Merrill High School Class of ’60 held its 50-year class reunion at the Eagles Club on July 17, 2010.

The occasion was well attended. One hundred seventy one were there and 101 were 1960 classmates.

Helen Wallace was Mistress of Ceremonies and Dave Johnson gave special acknowledgements and awarded prizes. Tom Buck gave the invocation and a special prayer in memory of deceased classmates. Decorations were done by Sharon Peterson and Grace Frick.

Entertainment was provided by Ken Kleist with music reminiscent of the ’50s and ’60s. Guests attending from out of state were from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.
