A Tomahawk man who struck a deer this past Tuesday remains hospitalized at Aspirus Wausau Medical Center.
Walter T. Dieter was traveling south on Loop Road when he struck a deer with his 1995 Honda motorcycle and crashed. Dieter was wearing a helmet at the time of crash which took place at 9:00 p.m.
He was transported to the nearby Tomahawk Airport by Tomahawk EMS and from there he was flown by helicopter to Aspirus where he was in good condition as of Sunday evening.
