The Pommerscher Verein German Club will present their annual ??¢???????? Sommerfest at the Rib River Ballroom on Wednesday, July 21 from 6-10 p.m.
For your listening and dancing pleasure, music will be provided by the Zweivertel Musikanten – a ten piece Brass Band direct from Austria.
The Rib River Ballroom will be transformed into a German Beer Hall. The doors open at 4:30 p.m., with German-style plate lunches and sandwiches available for purchase at 5 p.m. Music and dancing will be from 6- 10 p.m.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at Dave’s County Market, Drew’s Piggly Wiggly, and Courtside Furniture for $8. Tickets may also be purchased in advance from Verein members. (In the Wausau area, tickets are available at Jerry’s Music and Wausau Music Center, and at the Rib River Ballroom.) The cost of tickets purchased at the door the evening of this event will be $10.
