A complaint last Monday night in the Town of Bradley led to a 23-year old Rhinelander man being charged with several felony and misdemeanor counts.
A deputy investigated after he received information that Nicholas L. Wanty was having inappropriate contact with minor girls. In speaking to the deputy Wanty admitted to providing and smoking marijuana with the teenage girls.
Wanty was brought to the Lincoln County Jail where he was charged with a felony count of manufacture / deliver marijuana, misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, two counts of intentionally contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and a felony charge of bail jumping. Wanty violated terms of his bond in Oneida County where he is facing charges related to sexual contact with a minor.
At a bond hearing on Tuesday Wanty was released on a signature bond.
